Inspiration Comes Specialized

As you may have guessed by now, school has indeed started.  In fact, this week is midterms.  Fun!!!  Over the past month and a half, however, I have developed my character in new ways and am learning not only academically, but in other aspects that mainly have to deal with who I am and how I conduct myself.  I have given myself many more opportunities than usual to receive needed inspiration.

One thing learned is that a person must be in a comfortable setting to receive.  Often, writers seek out nature, a place where their thoughts are free and can take their words and plots into a new direction and to clear writers block.  An athlete finds inspiration on the field, on the court, or in the arena.  For the average person, inspiration can be found just about anywhere:  a favorite room, a favorite bench, or even a favorite pair of socks.

I have found my setting for inspiration and I now take advantage of it as often as I can.  Doing this has taken my life into a new direction mentally and spiritually.  And thus, the quality of my life in those aspects has greatly improved creating a happier me.

I am not special.  By that I mean that each person has the same opportunity as I have to improve the quality of their life through simple meditation and introspection.  It is a chance to over-think and then simplify that thinking all in the same moment. It is in the simplification where the understanding comes.  It is then the responsibility to act on that newly obtained understanding to improve perspective.

Since being presented with new challenges these past six weeks, the inspiration received has been vital in being successful in my academic endeavors, my spiritual progression, and my personal mental processes.  Though my motivation is not always the highest, I am still achieving good grades, my spirituality (currently revolving solely around the creation of good habits) is nearing an all-time high, and I am still maintaining comfort with my social interactions.

Create the Good Life for Yourself.
